A preview of STH 250, perhaps?Scenario:
After one too many battles with his roboticized lover, Sonic reaches an emotional breaking point.
“I can’t take it anymore,” he cries. “You win, Eggman. I surrender.”
An hour later, Eggman broadcasts an image across every monitor on planet Mobius of Sonic in a roboticizer, with Mecha Sally at the controls. Panic and despair fill the air as everyone realizes they are about to witness their last hope against Eggman extinguished brfore their very eyes.
“Citizens of Mobius,” Eggman boasts. “Behold your fate, and witness the final triumph of the Eggman Empire! Sally, activate the roboticizer!”
“As you command, lord Eggman,” replies Sally as she presses the activation button.
As a bright laser transforms his flesh into cold metal, Sonic lets out one last smile as a tear rolls down his face, thinking, “At least we’ll finally be together again...”

I know, right? In Super Mario Bros Z, he appears as Mecha Sonic. And in the True Arena, he reappears in his 2.0. version. And then in the Ultimate Choice, he appears as Metallix (Secret Boss) after Morpho Knight and before Void Termina.

Guess I forgot about that; it hasn’t been mentioned since issue #40.
But still, Eggman modified Mecha Sally so that Power Rings can’t restore her free will (in fact, she’s powered by one). I imagine he’d make the same modifications to Mecha Sonic when he inevitably weaponizes him.

Sonics' mind is protected by Power Rings when he got his 1 billionth Power Ring, even when he was roboticized, he still managed his free will, despite Dr. Robotniks' control

If Eggman could find a way to break Sonic’s immunity to robotization, don’t you think he’d find a way to deactivate Sonic’s psychological aura as well?
And if not, he’d probably blackmail Sonic into serving him by threatening to destroy Mecha Sally. At this point, I fear the only way Sonic and Sally will ever be reunited is as Eggman’s slaves.

If Egghead blackmailed Sonic then Sonic would destroy the base and use his magnetic pull factor to pull Mecha Sally. Then he de-roboticizes her.
Although she gets de-roboticized, the de-roboticizer would break. So Sonic might stay that way till it gets fixed.

oohhhhhhh............. poor sonic *cries*. i think that will hppen next:
although,sonic had a secret:he knows that darkspine can't get effected by the roboticizer, but he could die after he become a human form in a chao body (like a human chao! design by: ) . so he got out and freed sharha ( whom roboticized ) , but super and fleetway saw what he's doing, so they tried to go out and succeeded!
but they were to late......DS disappeared in lights (like when sora unlocked his heart)........he died bause of both the roboticizer and his powerful love between him and the genie of the ring
