You know how I like to draw all of the characters I make as customs? I hit a bit of a snafu with the Sonicformer on account of me not being able to draw transformers very well...thankfully the wonderfully talented terrenslks, as the original inspiration of this particular series of customs, was willing to lend me his skills and drew him up for me. He provided the line art and I colored it. Why can't I draw transformers?Check out Terrenslks' art here: [link]
edit: I found a way to change the gif file into a workable jpeg and added shading an a clearer insert of the toy's pictures, it looks much nicer now.

well Hasbro would have to go through the trouble of getting the license from Sega, plus crossover figures have a reputation of poor quality so a lot of people might not buy the first wave. They would be expensive to license, produce, and distribute for very little initial gain.

There were 2 crossover lines, one for Marvel heroes and the other for Star Wars. They took the risk because those are the easiest sells in licensing history, but both of those lines had reputations for lackluster or bad toys. Some of them were cool though, like the Hulk tank or Ghostrider motorcycle.

actually no, I didn't start collecting transformers until 2007, the only G1 era toys I have are some micromasters I had since I was a little kid.

well they just released a new Leader class figure that looks pretty spot on G-1 in robot mode, he's about the same height as MP Optimus Prime and is pretty bad ass. Only thing is he turns into a tank, not a gun.

if you can, when I tried the file kept screwing up on me, he sent it to me as a gif and I couldn't convert it to a jpeg so I had to make it a png and then refused to let me add layers or use a shading brush so I had to leave it like this.

hmm, I guess when I needed to officially make him a member of a "team." I picked a mundane animal like a dog because he's not supposed to be a superhero or anything, and actually dog FC's aren't all that common at all so I was being a little original.

As I said on your reference sheet, I always thought of him as a Manx. Some Manx cats have short tails.
