Hello everyone! Last week I was in Levi (at the very north of Finland) with my sister and some friends. I got many opportunities to capture some of the very essence of all the snow up there, and many times I found myself walking in the woods with snow all the way up my waist! Yes, that is one metre of snow at least.Unfortunately the weather there wasn't so great the days I were out photographing; very cloudy and snowing a lot, no sunshine unfortunately.
Well anyway, here's a shot I took a few hundred metres outside of our cottage during mid day. I processed the RAW photo in Photoshop CS3 beta and added the soft vignetting and frame.

Ah, this is like winters in my home town. It's cold and it's hard to walk in such deep snow, but it's a playground once you're well dressed.

i like this very much... the colours are beautiful and i love how the snow seems to fade off towards the camera. it's very smooth which is likable about snow.
