"I am the dark void. I am the cold night. I am the just knight. I am Batman! The end has come!"I wanted that to be the title but of course it was too long. One of these days DA will get sick of me complaining and change the character limit, just for me.... ):
Anyone who's played Blazblue for a while probably noticed Ragna's Joker color, so this isn't a really far stretch for a combo. It was still pretty fun to do though, so I don't really mind how obvious it is.
I tried to draw more comic-y for this one, dunno how that turned out. I didn't spend an awful lot of time on it anyway, so I guess whatever effect I was going for was kinda lost /:. All in all though, considering how long I spent on this, I'm pretty happy with what I ended up with.

I think Hazama/Terumi would've made a more suitable Joker since he's the one whose more like a mortal enemy for Hakumen while Ragna is more of a rival. Aside from the that amazing work here.

i just started laughing, and yeah, Ragna has that color scheme, when i first got the game, i was excited, but when i choosed that color, i started laughing, its so freaking funny to choose that color scheme

That's hilarious. I noticed the Ragna's peculiar Joker color scheme but it never occurred to me that Hakumen could play Batman's role so well. haha.
I can definitely see the interplay between the two and the quote is definitely fitting. Now if only Ragna had a more bat$%&! insane personality like Jin...

You know, now that you mention it, I think, in-game, Ragna would be a better Batman, and Jin would be a better Joker. Too bad they don't have the right colors though, lol.

this is fantastic. And I'm not just saying it because it's friggin' hilarious (and fitting on so many levels) but because it's actually well-done, too
I really really like how you did the shading, with the hatching? It's especially visible under ragna the jokedge's hair. My only wish is that you used it a bit more like on his sleeve or around the edges of the picture to give it some stronger-feeling lighting. More dramatic, of course.
Awesome work, definitely one my favorites of yours in both concept and execution.
