This is a drawing I've done of Shirley MacLaine. She's an actress and author. She's known for her her roles in film as strong willed, quirky or eccentric women. She's won an Oscar, an Emmy award, two Baftas, and Six Golden Globe awards, and plenty of other awards in her eight decade career. She was born in 1934 in Richmond, Virginia, US.

She's been in many films: Terms of Endearment, The Apartment, Steel Magnolias, Around the World in Eighty Days, Postcards from the Edge, Being There, Two Mules For Sister Sara, and other films, as well as many TV roles.

The picture I based my drawing on comes from a scene in The Apartment, where she seems not too happy with Jack Lemmon's character for some reason.
