Was in a real mood to shoot yesterday (and today, in fact).Dragged my friend Ken out for a day of joyous photography.
This is the Mongkok district. Crowded as hell.
I knelt low and held my camera to the ground for the shot.
Got a lot of looks. Why? I can never understand.
I'm. just. taking. photos.
Anyway, yeah.
The sign says, "Thousand-Flavoured Noodles".
And this is a widely popular Japanese noodle chain restaurant.
I love how bamboo is used for construction here.
Okay.

I like the blurs of people and how the neon sign contrasts with the bamboo construction site.
LOL. My mom told me that the sign up on the bamboo says something about donate blood. What is it with food places and bodily fluids ads?

But omg...that's why I hate street photography and taking pictures with an SLR anywhere where there's other ppl...I dont like the stares and the ppl talking and whatnot.
I was on all fours trying to get a shot of some broken paintballs (see my photo "Paint" or something), and these three dudes walk by, and one of 'em's like, "see, that's a true artist," in a condescending and sarcastic way...
I wish I'd had my paintball gun on me, and not all the way in the trunk of my car right then...

Bamboo is actually awesome for infrastructure. It grows fast, it's cheap, it's sturdy, and the fact that it actually has a slight bend to it, makes it even safer than steel infrastructure. You know how the best bridges are made to rock slightly to overcome earthquakes? Yeah.
