He/she looks like he/she is trying to understand humans, the way he/she is marvelling at us with such intensity. I don't feel fear in this animal, I feel as though he/she wants us to understand something, or he/she understands us in a way another human cannot.
He/she looks concerned and afraid, as if he/she knows we're endangering ourselves and the world in which we live. He/she seems to know the futue and sees all but says nothing.

7D is the best (least worst) Canon I've used for high ISO... it was raining when I took that shot and light was rather poor. Still lacks that extra punch (dynamic range, detail) you get from lower ISO though...

I agree, the 5DmII can do such amazing lowlight but it's so expensive and the metering/autofocus tech is getting older too. Even so, I can't argue with how the resulting image looks, even from the 7D.
Great gallery. I wish I had something for animal photography nearby like what you have in the UK.
