One of my best friend- who is female - feels this way as well and I've never called them a "she". Every time I talked about him it's always with male pronouns because it just feels like thats how it should be. He never asked me to or ever said that he prefers it but it just happened and he likes it a lot better like that.
As for me, I'm gender fluid so I always feel like either, both, or none. So I prefer the gender-neutral terms. However, for some reason, if someone doesn't know my gender in real life online, and they call me a she... that bothers the living crap out of me. And my crap does not live, mind you. I just choose to remain anon online. It's watevs.

Oh, great! π₯
I wanted to ask you what you wanted to prefer to be called, but I didn't want to seem rude. Good thing I found this!

I'm getting use to calling one of My friends "He" I'll get use to it one day but for now I just kinda switch between the two trying yo use male pronouns when ever I can~

Oh,, how proud I am for my country and language! In my language (finnish) there is no "he" and "she" but there is only one pronoun "hΓ€n" which mean both boys and girls.
IΒ΄ll use "ze" and "hir" for you if I ever need to. c:

Voltex12345 [2015-01-07 04:21:10 +0000 UTC]
oh ok
good to know.
i mean the english language has "it" and "they"
but in europe, everything is a female or male noun.
like boat is male
ship is female, dafuq!
that would be even more troublesome.
honestly i'm fine with just Aidyn or snail when refer to people, but when i refer to you, i just use "you" duh XD
and this "i prefere "he"" preference doesn't have anything to do with society does it?
you know, because some girls don't mind to be called manly or something similar, but guys have a hard time with girlyness and similars.
like you said "miss, princess, queen, madame"... yeah that'd feel aweful.
but even so, my opinion is, do so only if you think it's because of a personal preference, don't let social stigma judge that choice.
because fuck society and it's standards

??? He just said "he", not "it". Calling people an "it" is kind of rude? I imagine they/them is fine though!

A year or so ago, a new word was added to the Swedish dictionary - a neutral word that fits all genders! In English there is he, she and it. In Swedish there is he (han), she (hon), it (den), and "the neutral" (hen). I wish more languages would establish the concept! :')
