I just realized I left a comment that involved me saying something about my boyfriend. I regret my choices... Haha, it pertained to the comic? Ya? I'm going with that... Anywhos.... I go to a fashion design college... The students are 90% straight females and 10% gay guys. The VAST majority of my conversations with them are about men. Sex with men, relationships with men, and attractiveness of men. I try converting about movies or books or news and I am returned with youtube boy popstars, Fifty Shades of Grey, and who is dating who in the celb. world... These type of comics and my non-school friends help me from strangling someone with the iron cord.

…my mom and younger sister are convinced that this guy I know has a crush on me, and vice versa.

I doodle the weird shenanigans we have gotten up to at Halloween parties, and we talk about Magic The Gathering. Then, when that's over, I creep back here, or I go to some other recess on dA and find THINGS. Then I hear about the drama my sister is going through with her boyfriend, and then I get reminded I need to start learning how to drive. This is my life. I like it. But some parts of it, I can't bring myself to care about. I don't care. I don't care. I don't want to know about relationships, regardless of how I write them in fiction. I don't care.

This comic is great. Displays the point perfectly.

Romance is stupid. I hate when I go to camp, and the girls in my group bitch about how life sucks, and how their bf's are horrible. Then they talk about them making-out in the back seat of their friends car, and I'm just like, "WTF is wrong with you humans?!"

Que sera, sera. You do what makes you happy, which is good. Although I do wonder if you'll find those people as annoying if you ever have a relationship of your own. Is it like a new-parent thing you think, like you won't care so much until you have one (a relationship in this case) of your own and your own stories to share?

It's none of my business, I'm just curious. Personally I find this hilarious. Although, admittedly, a little sad too which is I think what ultimately prompted me to want to write a comment.

I hope you find what you're looking for in terms of relationships someday though. I generally wish that for people but you in particular because I like your comics and I'd love to see what you'd come up with if you were ever in love ^^

Ehh....the way I see it, being the victim of romance is either the best thing in the world (like my wife), the worst thing in the world, or a painfully indifferent thing (like my first wife)  Personally, I like it and I highly recommend it.

I'm afraid that I can't say much about your reaction though, I just sit their and politely hear/listen.  It's the gift/curse of the INFP

i have some friends who AWAYS talk about their love problems, i mean, when we talk about sunny weatheer they beginn to talk about how they went for a walk, when we talk about dogs they begin to talk about the dog of their loverboy and how he resembles him urgggg so annoying...

i wish i could just stand up and leave like you but instead i beginn to daydream while "listening" to them...
even if i'm not listening at all when they talk, i learned to nod when they give me a special look....

Unfortunately I love some romantic movies such as 50 First Dates and a few others and I feel annoyed at the fact that it isn't that easy.....
