Description This is a crossover I came up with which crosses the TV show SWAT Kats with the 1986 Studio Ghibli masterpiece Laputa : Castle in the Sky, also known simply as Castle in the Sky. If you haven't seen either of these, I highly recommend them to fans of animation and cartoons. Sorry about the line running through Callie (Sheeta) at the top. I ran out of paper and had to use tape and another half sheet to extend it. Also in my opinion Jake's head is a bit larger than it should be, but I'm not too worried about that. Also, I almost forgot to mention something. It turns out that three voice actors that had roles in SWAT Kats later voiced characters in the dub of Castle in the Sky! How funny is that? Those voice actors include Jim Cummings (Manx), Tress MacNeille (Callie), and Mark Hamill (Jonny k.)! Their roles in the film are The General, Boss' wife, and Colonel Muska, respectively.

Here's a list of characters. First their name in the movie, then which character replaces them from SWAT Kats.
Sheeta: Callie Briggs
Pazu: Jake Clawson
Dola : Felina Feral (?)
The General: Commander Feral
Colonel Muska: Dr. Greenbox
Uncle Pom: Manx (?)
Pazu's Boss : Chance Furlong
Train Driver: Jonny K.

For a peak at the film Castle in the Sky, here is a link to a fan edited trailer on YouTube [link] This is the best trailer for the movie in my opinion, fanmade or otherwise. And one more thing, the castle's name was taken from Gulliver's Travels and "Laputa" is meaningless in Japanese. In the Spanish dub, Laputa was renamed Lapuntu, but Laputa is the castle's original name.

SWAT Kats (c) Hanna-Barbera
Castle in the Sky (c) Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki

Nice, I loved Laputa, it's great you crossed it with the swat kats, though I wanna see what you do with Chance as the boss.

Well it's great that you're a fan of both of these! And I might do another picture (or even more) if people are really interested. Since you've seen both, do you agree with the placements of the characters? (just had to ask)

I do, I could easily see them in those roles.

Great! I debated between Greenbox and Lt.Steele for Muska. I chose Greenbox because the ending of "Unlikely Alloys" is similar to the ending of Laputa.
