Courage see me through, heart I'm trusting you, on this journey to the past...
My internet has been down for a few days but now I can upload a picture I've been working on during my free time at school. I started this drawing back at the beginning of January and worked on it bit by bit during my free time in seminar at school, and I finally finished it a few days ago. It's Anya from one of my favorite childhood movies, 20th Century Fox's Anastasia. It's funny how many people think Anastasia is a Disney movie. Like most people I would sing along to the songs in the movie and I learned Once Upon A December by heart. We even sang it for a Christmas concert one year! How cool is that? XD Anyway, I'm so glad I finally got this piece done. I love this movie, despite the fact that it's full of historical inaccuracies, but hey, it was what got me interested in the real story of the Russian Revolution and the fate of the Romanovs, especially Anastasia. After all, the movie is pretty much a fairy tale based off of historical events, right? I'm pretty sure Rasputin never owned a talking albino bat named Bartok...
