Things observed during the multiple episodes when Allen was being all emo at the Asia Branch (dear god that lasted long in the anime. And it made my friend lose any and all respect she had for his character!).During a certain episode, Allen mentions that he only had one thing on his mind when he was improving, and then there was one of those cheesy little flashback type things showing all his friends. It was at this point that my friend says something like "Ooh, Lenalee~!" So yes. The entire time he was thinking of Lenalee and her short skirt. Bak may or may not have lost a few of his stalker photos.

In all honesty, I think Lenalee would have be the main thing in his mind along with the others, it's not really because of romantic feelings but more that he knows how she feels about losing people and he doesn't want to make her cry when he wasn't even dead. I mean we've noticed that she was always one of the first ones Allen thought of when thinking of the people he cared about the most

Yeah, I think he relates to her on a level that the others don't quite reach. Plus in that time in the Asia branch, he was having nightmares about her crying and hearing her voice. No wonder he'd think of her most.

I don't see how Yullen is highlighted, when it's one-sided angst with Kanda because he doesn't know how to repay Allen. While Allen really doesn't have time to focus on anything like that given the circumstances. And yeah Allen and Lenalee actually share a large amount of similarities between each other.

Exactly, that's the type of thing that makes shippers go wild. He's showing a lot of interest in Allen for reasons that can be taken many ways. I find it annoying when people bash Lenalee or act as if Allen and the others find her bothersome, especially since they have so many similarities.

I don't see how, Kanda's reason for returning was because he "didn't want to owe a debt" and because he's responsible for awakening Neah, which is true since he couldn't keep his shit together with Alma. And if you analyze the two of them their pasts and current experiences are very similar.
Allen doesn't know who his parents were, Lenalee no longer remembers them;
Allen had to survive years alone in the world, Lenalee had to survive years alone in the Order;
Mana is the one who helped Allen experience life a bit, Komui was able to patch back a very traumatized Lenalee;
Allen lost his innocence after overworking it and Tyki destroying it, Lenalee lost her ability to activate hers from overworking them;
Allen gained a stronger bond and power with Crown Clown, Lenalee was the same with the Dark Boots crystallizing;
Allen got a less grotesque form of his left arm, Lenalee got a lighter equipment for her boots;
Allen would do anything to save Akuma, Lenalee would do anything to save her family.
These too have tons in common, way more than anyone else in the series. Even if they don't become a pairing they will be the closest to each other out of everyone
