"Autumn is such a beautiful season, The grey dull world becomes full of pretty magical colours. If only it could be this way forever."
"So you think... death is beautiful Light...?"

For a year or so I've wanted to draw something to represent the above phrase. It sounds so much cooler in my head than it does reading those lines. When I was writing To the Valley last year, I would think of scenes while I walked outside. I lived on a street with a lot of trees on it, and when it became late september usually, all of the trees had all changed into their autumn colours. I remember thinking it was beautiful but than suddenly thinking that fall is when most of nature dies by the snow. Flower dies, leaves fall and shrivel up. Winter typically symbolizes in a lot of literature just because of how unforgiving it is and how much it changes the environments we live in. Fall is the precursor to winter and the transition into death.

The way the scene unfolded in my head was Light and Soren walking in a forested area and Light saying the first line mentioning how Autumn was pretty and Soren would respond with "So you think death is pretty" or something like that.
For this I didn't want to spend to much time on it, I think in the future I might fix it, but I just wanted to do some blocky characters instead of spending an eternity trying to render them out.

Anyways, I did this for my discords group bi-weekly challenge. The theme was "Fall" to draw in celebration of the changing season. Fall is a really pretty time of year.
