Description These are my personal thoughts on this particular topic. I think that rather than take advantage of the controversy to impose some trend or fashion, or take the opinions of scientists as absolute truths or facts, we must recognize our role as illustrators and visual communicators. Why do we draw these prehistoric beasts? Has the myth and the mystery behind these creatures seduced us? Will it be a scientistic vanity that tries to overthrow these myths? For my part, I think that paleoart (I like the term paleoilustration more) is a good tool for the dissemination of science and culture, it can help us to look at the modern megafauna with different eyes, to take an interest in the conservation of nature, and therefore it is necessary to represent these creatures as believable animals and not as fantasy beasts. However, you should not leave everything to science. In many things, this subject is a dead field for science and a dangerous terrain for speculation, we can use those blind spots to let our imagination and fantasy fly, to knock down those tastes in a shocking way, or we can endeavor to represent these animals as the living creatures that they were and help people become interested in the natural world.

So you think that lips and ISOs can actually coexist?

What's the difference between armored, keratinized and hardened skin?
