Stunning image. Your brother is so photogenic and a natural model, it seems the camera loves him. I must also comment on what amazing, kind eyes he has, I'm sure he has the spirit to match.

It's very fascinating to me ... maybe it's a combination of the photographic technique and the subject ... you, your sister, and your brother seem to appear very statuesque while maintaining every last drop of human emotion(maybe its the old Italian heritage!). Your brother almost appears to have been cast from marble, yet you can feel the solemness, the reverence in his wonderful gaze, reflecting on some distant memory or image he is trying to comes to terms with. The symmetry is well orchestrated - especially across the face where you're blending 2 rather light colors. The sunlight in no way washes out the expression - not an easy element to accomplish with your layout. The position is perfect ... the best part aout it is it doesn't look posed at all ... it maintains it spontaneity ... and I love the title ... it speaks as much to the internal spirit of the soul as it soes to the physical charasteristics of the work! Very well done, my dear.

You know, I must confess ... I go back and read your comments about my "Baroness" whenever I am feeling a little down ... I still feel your emotion jumping off the computer screen and it really lifts my spirits - I have never had anyone so joyful over my work and it was such a great experience that I go back to it alot(not every day ... but close!) Actually, you are hanging in my study now right next to St. Jessica. I placed her in a simple, but elegant black frame and double black matte. I do want you to have a copy and I am working on it now, but I will make you a deal(and this is serious) ...
If you ever come to New York City again and I have the privilege to meet you I will give you the original that you can take home with you. It takes me about 45 minutes to get to Manhattan by train, so it wouldn't take long at all ... but again, it is entirely up to you.
And all the thanks goes to you for publishing beautiful work that speaks to my soul. It is such a joy for me to experience all of it and I hope to see more from you soon!

Might want to try a 3/4 view, like I see with another of your photographs, "Nicole " to engage the edges a little more. Don't get me wrong, I love this photograph! Your brother is a fantastic model! But when moving around the photograph, my eyes go from his eyes to the right side, where the light shines.
You could also have him face the same way, but have his eyes pointed very slightly to the left edge to engage that part a little more. But I mean, again, I really like this photograph. That's the only thing I can suggest, and I didn't feel like it was worthy of a full-on critique unless I had more to offer you.
