Description  Killer Frost/Poison Ivy (c) DC Comics
 You (c) yourself

All character adaptions are free to use. WARNING: Killer Frost might have a bit of a general personality. This is because there are multiple versions of the character and I wanted you to pick whatever version you liked. I'm borrowing though some traits of Louise Lincoln though but all incarnations are free to use.

Originally was going to be a Harley Quinn x Male!Reader x Poison Ivy but since there is probably already a lot of reader inserts for Harley, here's one for both Killer Frost and Poison Ivy.

"You want me to what again?" Killer Frost thundered, angrily. She turned to the male figure standing before her. He was a bit taller than she was but that didn't mean she couldn't take him down on her own.

The male snickered and leaned against the wall. They were on the rooftop, discussing with one another on his plan he gave to her. "It's an easy proposal to figure out," the male chuckled. "Maybe an unnatural way of payment but if you help me, I can promise the wealth is worth it."

Killer Frost glared at him. She was still trying to process what he had just suggested to her. It was just so unusual but he was willing to pay her. Would the job be easy? Yeah, that was the problem.

The male that had approached her was (y/n) or better known as (v/n). He had also been known by the news of Heatwave, a nickname for his powers associated with fire. Yet, the villain also was quirky with martial arts and another power he had developed, just in case he was being over run.

According to his wish, he desired Killer Frost's help in freeing his girlfriend, Poison Ivy from Arkham Asylum. The two had fallen in while in that horrid of a place, attending one of those ridiculous villain conference sharing groups or whatever that crap was. So, they plotted an escape that had went successful from their months of planning until one slip up had lead to Ivy being captured again.

Now, (y/n) was determined in freeing her again. He had advised a plan on freeing her for a while and even robbed several banks in preparation to deal with the various villains' requests. He had went to them in hopes to convince on payment yet they turned him down. They weren't for sure going back to that awful location ever again.

Killer Frost pondered on the idea. It wasn't that she trusted him but how was it that if she helped him, she'd be the one to clean up their mess? Especially if they left her to be captured. She glowered at the villain.

"If I help you," she hissed. "How do I not know that you'll leave me behind to deal with everyone else?"

(Y/n) shrugged. "Don't worry," he said. "I have a check to give you still anyway. I can assure you that you won't be left behind. I'm doing all the work anyway. I just need you to hold anyone off until I free Ivy. Then, once we're back in Gotham, I'll give you your reward."

Killer Frost huffed. Her thoughts clashed with one another again, battling to see if he would be true. The pay was good...she could go shopping with a reward like that. Yet, still, she didn't want to be left behind in that dump...

(Y/n) glimpsed at her face, watching it constrict with tension, uncertain to accept his offer. His eyes glowed with anger.

"I'll go by myself then," he growled, stomping away. "I try to be nice in offering something as so generous to you villains and you all bash it away. Well then, since nobody wants to help, I'll go alone."

He froze though as he glanced down to see his feet covered in ice. He turned back to Killer Frost.

"Fine, I'll help you," she said. "You have to keep your promise though you pay big me. And the minute I find you two dashing off without me, don't think I'll be back with revenge. Got it?"

(Y/n) smiled, flicking his hands to melt the ice glued to his feet. "Of course," he said, nodding. "It would be a shame for me to leave you behind. How else would I keep my promise to pay?"

The two villains traveled over to the asylum, eyeing an easy access to get in. They had easily slipped through the front gates already, with (y/n) melting the gates from the sides. They cowered in the bushes together, wondering where they could first break in.

"Ok, so now we're here," Killer Frost said. "Any ideas how we're going to get in?" She turned around only to find that the villain was gone. She peeked her head back up to see that he was returning with two guards.

"Here," he said, throwing the female to her. "I got you that. Hope it's your size."

They changed into their gear and went inside. They scanned the rooms and floors they passed by, looking for Poison Ivy.

"As I have said, I'll be the one to do the rescuing," (y/n) said. "You just keep an eye out on anyone else who stops us. And then, once we're out, home free."

"I'm sure you know where she is?" Killer Frost asked.

"Of course," (y/n) sniggered. "It's her favorite place, what else? Though, I'm afraid they might have moved her since there's no doubt from last time she tried to escape."

Finally, kicking the door to march outside, Killer Frost opened her eyes to see a huge greenhouse. Inside, there were shadows of huge plants soaring up. The glass twinkled green. A guard was up in front, glancing about.

"What are you two doing here?" the guard inquired, frowning at them.

"Change of shift," (y/n) lied. "Is Ivy still in there?"

"After that little escape from last time, no," the guard said. "Are you sure though, my shifts over? What's..."

Before the guard could say more, he screamed as a flash of fire blazed through his eyes.

 "Freeze him," (y/n) ordered.

Not wanting to question him, Killer Frost did as she was told. She summoned a wad of ice, covering the guard from head to toe. "What now?" she asked.

(Y/n) thought for a bit. "Here," he said, grabbing the guard's keys thrown to the ground. "Push him in when I open this." He opened the door and Frost shoved the guard inside. "That'll be a little snack for the plants now," (y/n) said, heading back to the door. "Come on, I think I know where she can be now."

The villains ran back inside with (y/n) leading the way. He jammed a button on the elevator, tapping his foot furiously.

"Do you miss her that badly?" Killer Frost asked, raising her eyebrow. "I gotta say, I'm a bit impressed on how you're handling this. You know, you probably could have rescued her on your own..."

"Perhaps," the male agreed. "I had made various plans though upon rescuing Ivy. I had been afraid of the numerous consequences should each one fail. I couldn't afford to go alone anyway. I needed someone to watch my back. I needed an extra in case of something like that..." He titled his head, reminiscing of the security guard. "...should happen."

Killer Frost nodded. "This is going by pretty smoothly. I can already hear my pay calling me. Though, you do realize that the minute someone notices about the guards disappearing...they'll be on alert soon."

"If I have to burn this down, I will do so then to find Ivy," the male hissed.

Killer Frost raised an eyebrow. Huh, sounds like he's very enamored by her, she thought. In fact, from the way she had seen him roaming about on the floors and into each rooms, she'd been really fascinated by his pursuit of finding his girlfriend.

The villain's eyes were shuffled throughout the asylum, desperate to free the woman he loved. While searching for Ivy, she couldn't help but ask the male about his romance with her.

(Y/n) admitted her pheromones had gotten the best of him, yet, he had pulled her in with his spell of seduction. While she had waved an air of aroma towards him, the pyrokinesis villain in turn danced flames about in his hands, showing off his tricks. It was there that they couldn't help but talk to each other more in those stupid villain sharing meetings about what they could do better than robbing banks. And then, it all blossomed when one meeting day, Ivy sneezed, feeling a little cold in the room. (Y/n) basked a glow of warmth around her, grinning at her smile flickered towards him. They had fallen in love, cared for one another and now, wanted to do nothing more than be together.

Killer Frost chuckled at his story. Well, no doubt he's one smooth guy, she thought again. And I don't exactly blame Ivy for wanting him now...he is kind of hot...

She pondered onto how he had went up to her, asking her of her assistance in helping to free Ivy. Yet, she had been scared of seeing the two leave together, leaving her behind. Glancing at him now, wanting nothing more than to free his girl from this prison and promise to not leave her behind...the glimmer in his eyes when he had seen she was confused...fed up to the point of even going by himself to free Ivy.

I must be wrong then, Killer Frost thought. If he's willing not to leave Ivy...then he won't leave me.

They finally approached a glass wall, clouding with eerie, green mists.

"She's here," (y/n) said, poking the glass.

Indeed, a female figure appeared from the fog. Her skin was shimmering green with the complementary reddish orange hair flowing about with flowers. She opened her eyes to reveal matching glinting greens.

"Heatwave?" she asked, prancing over to the glass. "Is that you, my love?"

"I'm here, Ivy," (y/n) said, pressing his hands onto the glass. "Don't worry, you'll be out soon. Frost." He pointed to the power generators. "There's no key for this. It's all by electric lock. Destroy those and it might be able to free her."

Frost scanned the room for the generators. After finding them, she froze and shredded them apart. The generators shattered like glass. The power to the doors then unlocked, opening.

Ivy elegantly walked out. She jumped at her boyfriend, hugging him tightly. "I missed you so much!" she cooed, nipping his ear. "I thought you were going to abandon me after all that time we spent together...I never met a man who thought could love me for who I am. Not even after Batman."

"I'm here now," (y/n) said, swaying her hair. "Let's now get out of here before..."

In that moment though, the alarm rang, booming in their ears.

"Freeze!" the guards roared, charging up to the villains, aiming their guns at them.

"Yeah, we'll do just that!" Killer Frost grinned. She waved her hands at them, smearing the guards up in frost.

The villains proceeded to the nearest exit. Little did they know though, they would be dodging turrets like crazy. Even when it seemed that they crushed the machines with victory, more appeared, entrapping them back into the asylum.

"Is there an opening yet?" Poison Ivy asked. She kept peeking her head out, staring at the turrets firing rapidly along with the guards.

Killer Frost in the meantime had created an ice shield from hitting them and (y/n) attempted to shoot one of the turrets out but feared being hit.

"No," (y/n) said, frustrated. "I can't seem to make a clean hit. Do you think you can help out here a bit?"

"But the babies will get hurt!" Ivy protested. "I can't let them..."

"Ivy, hun, I know you don't want the babies to be hurt but I promise, once we get out of here, they'll have a good home to be in," (y/n) said, bashing out another fireball.

Ivy sighed and clasped her hands. "Come my children," she cooed. "Help Daddy ward off the bad men."

Suddenly, the walls burst with vines swarming in, grasping onto the guards. The guards freaked, firing at the plants. The plants gripped their guns' aim to the turrets, exploding them into pieces.

"And we're out of here!" Killer Frost said. Ivy coaxed the plants to let go of the guards to which Killer Frost froze them. Igniting a blast to the exit, the villains were finally free.

"Quickly," (y/n) said as he ran out. He urged the girls over to a van, empty. "I'll be right back. Hold on."

He dashed back into the asylum.

"What's he doing? We're this close to getting away!" Killer Frost snapped as she hopped into the van, shutting the door with Ivy taking the passenger seat.

Ivy turned around, curious. "He certainly does seem to be taking a while. I thought we're..." Then out of the corner of her eye, she saw her boyfriend charge through one of the walls. In his hands, he was carrying a jumble of clay pots full of plants. Carefully, he cooled down his flames on his fingertips and rushed to the van.

"Punch it!" he screamed as he opened the backdoor, laying out the pots down.

Ivy's heart felt like flying out. "The children!" she squealed. "Oh...you shouldn't have..."

"I couldn't save them all but I got your favorites," (y/n) sniggered, patting the plant.

Ivy smiled and leaned in to kiss her boyfriend. She almost collapsed onto him though as Killer Frost pushed the pedal.

"Whoops," she said to the couple. "Trying to get out of here, you know?"

Later, after making twists and turns, the villains finally made their getaway. They were free from the chasing police and incoming SWATS when (y/n) melted the road when Killer Frost made a sharp turn. That would definitely ruin the cops' tires.

"Stop right here," (y/n) said, pointing over at what looked like a little abandoned mansion. Frost pulled over into the driveway. "And we're home."

The fire-powered villain kicked open the doors and raced over to Ivy's side. He pulled the door open, carrying his girlfriend with both arms.

"What is this place?" Ivy asked, glancing around. "Our little secret hideout for now?"

"You got it," (y/n) said as he set her on her feet. "Feel free to have a look around. I found this place after wandering around a bit on trying to figure out how to free you. Then when I found it also came with a greenhouse...I couldn't help but rob a few banks to improve it and surprise you when you were finally free. Our own little home to be together."

"Aww, you shouldn't have!" Ivy said, hugging him. "You're such a thoughtful man...I appreciate what you'd did for me. And the children." She walked over to the trunk and petted one of the plants. "Well, you did say you'd give me anything. This is a start for what we wanted. And soon, I'll be cherished in clothes and jewels."

(Y/n) chuckled and kissed his girlfriend's cheek. "I'll get them settled in," he said, grabbing the pots. "Why don't you help our little helper with the money I owe? It should be in the living room, right on the table. Like I promised." He winked at Frost before opening the gate to the gardens.

Killer Frost raised an eyebrow. Suave, she thought.

She followed Ivy into the house. She scanned the home about, fascinated by the improvements (y/n) had made to it. It wasn't much but the villain had done the best he could. New furniture, a couple paintings, some rugs...

I guess some things heated up in there, Frost joked to herself as she admired more of the improvements before heading into the living room. Certainly, those months in the asylum no doubt brought them together like nothing. Then again, she wouldn't blame Ivy for falling for a man like this. He seemed to know how to treat a girl right. Willing to give everything to make her happy. Heck, he ran back to the asylum just to save her plants for crying out loud. Just when it looked like he left Ivy and Frost to be captured for good...

"I don't know how it worked out for us," Ivy said, stashing up the money in the envelope. She had mistaken Frost's wonderment to how she and (y/n) were together with their powers. "You know though, I don't know how you see him but...he is quite hot. Indeed, I was scared to be burned by him a bit...considering his powers of course and mine...but...I did give in to his tenderness. He knew how to flare me up. And we just...clicked. I couldn't get enough of him and him of me. All those months of planning and seeing each other...heck, we even had talks about once we were out, we'd find a place to settle down a bit before we'd go back to our old ways. Looks like half of the work is done. Soon, I'll be in girl heaven again." She thrust the envelope to Killer Frost. "Your check."

Frost glimpsed at the envelope before taking the money out, counting it. "Wow," she said, putting it back in. "That's a lot...all just for freeing you?"

Ivy shrugged. "Well, I'm sure you helped him with the guards," she suggested. "That's another thing. He's very giving. I guess that's what made me fall for him more. I remember one time it was freezing one night and he...gave little flicker in my room, warming me up...oh, and then giving that light to my children..." She purred dreamily. "And just...making me all but happy...what I could do to give in turn...."

Killer Frost tapped the envelope. She sighed, glancing at Ivy. What a lucky girl, she thought. All this just to make Ivy happy...and the fact that (y/n) was also very handsome...jeez, how come he wasn't in her way?

Ivy glanced at Frost. "Do you like him?" she asked, noting Frost's despair.

Frost shook her head, baffled. "What, no!" she said. "I mean...I'm just...well...amazed...at how he treats you...I mean...all those months in the asylum...and you found him."

Ivy smiled, nodding. "It's ok if you do. I mean, I remember Harley going crazy when she saw him too after trying to bust out Joker again. She couldn't stop staring. That's what I like about him as well. Showing him off." She twirled a piece of her hair around her finger. "Though I would like to return the favor to him...do you think you can help out?"

 Frost frowned. "With what?"

"Oh, you know, thanking him," she hinted. "I can't have him do all this for me without giving something in return. I'm sure he'll like it. It'll be your little thank you for him too. Of course, if you don't want to, that's fine. I just want him to be happy."

Frost debated for a bit. "If you don't mind sharing then," she said. "I guess I could help. And he is going to need some assistance...you do don't mind if I do bump in, right?"

"We can always learn cooperate," Ivy giggled. "I don't mind. Just anything to make him happy. I'm sure he'll do us both good too."

The girls laughed together and then went out to the gardens where (y/n) was busy settling the plants in.

He looked up to see them staring. "Something you both want?" he inquired. "Did Ivy give you the money?"

"Don't worry, dear, I did," Ivy said. "I love the place by the way. But you look a bit down. Worn out. Why don't you start up the fire while I give you a good massage?"

(Y/n) got up and stretched. "Ouch...I guess I do need a good back rub. But what about you, Frost? Anything else you wanted or...."

"Oh, umm, I thought I'd return the favor by, you know, cooling you down," she said. "I'm sure all that work must be tiring. Ivy suggested it. Just you know...for the payment in return."

(Y/n) frowned but decided to let it go. He went into the house, walking to the living room. There, he fumed up a fire and sat on the couch.

The girls each sat on his side. Ivy mixed up a massage oil, rubbing (y/n)'s back. Frost blew a gale at him, cooling him off.

(Y/n) purred with the girls' hands on him, enjoying relaxation. The girls smiled at one another before leaning in to kiss his cheek. They were tickled with (y/n)'s cheeks warming.

"Sorry," he said, patting his cheek. "I hope you don't mind being a bit hot in here..."

"I don't," Ivy said, caressing her boyfriend's hair. "I don't mind it being wild too..."

"We can always cool down..." Frost teased, nuzzling her head against his neck.

(Y/n) shook his head, rolling his eyes, laughing. "All right, let's just stop right there," he said. "Before this place starts becoming a real hot mess now..."
