Description

Now that I've discovered the glories of TONE CURVE, I'm addicted. I want to re-edit everything I've ever shot (okay, everything I still like). Tone Curve does things that contrast can't. It makes things pop. It makes horses look so beautiful and shiny and surreal. (Look at that shoe. I'm fixated on the shoe. I didn't even notice it before, and now I can't look away.)

For a comparison in editing style, check out this image from the same day. I did the best I knew how at the time, and it looks okay, but dull. (This is on my list to edit again. )

Bay horse - I don't remember the name or the breed or even the owner's name, but I do know what city the farm was in, so that counts for...nothing? Shot August 3, 2012 (good thing the camera keeps track of the date, at least!).
