Critique me please? ;o;I am SO glad to be done with this! I tried a million different little things and wow it just dragged on forever and ever and ever. It was getting to the point where I liked it less and less each time I opened it, so I figured it was time to wrap it up haha.
I'm quite happy with the result, but there are a few things I wish I could tweak (unfortunately, the original file crashed or something odd and so I had to work from another file I had saved, on which several layers were already merged and it'd be a big pain in the butt to do stuff). Anyway art of Eri yaaaaaay. She's sooooo much fun to draw. This was an experimental piece where I played around with brushes and layer modes but I think it stands pretty well on its own.
As long as I have time, you can expect lots more digital art like this in the future! Digital is definitely less stressful (sometimes) and more fun than it used to be for me, now that I'm confronting my "digital fears" and diving right in. wheeeeeeeee

Okay, this is just fabulous! The motion is fluid and believable; the softness of the source light definitively makes it believable that she's in space; and the way you caused the light from her eyes and tail to "flow" adds to the motion.

I was wondering if the flowy lights added, I guess they do! Light is hard to do in space, I'm glad it's believable XD Though I might do it differently next time I make a spacey picture, idk

Oh wow very cool~ Your shading is really nice though it does look a bit out of place since the light seems like a bright white yet everything in the background is red tinted.
Stars aren't usually all red they can be but you would not see so many at once I don't think; maybe next time vary the colours? There is lots of golds, greens, blues, purples, in space as well~ Blues and purples especially I think might suit Eri's colours and make her seem more like she fits in with the rest of the pic.

Oh, you're right! I didn't even think about that, ahaha. Varying colors is also a good idea. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep them in mind next time I draw something spacey (especially if Eri's in it...I had a hard time getting her to fit with the background, and I think you have a good point about the colors...)
