YESSS!Finally, as promised, here's the chart with the bare and youthful look for the skeksis who did not live long enough to appear in The Dark Crystal movie!
Based on who they were and the charges they later took, I freely worked in their designs trying to convey their developing prsonalities in their gestures and colors even.
There we have SkekLi (the Satyrist) SkekVar (The Gereal) SkekEer (the Spy Master) SkekSa (the Mariner) SkekMal (the Hunter) and SkekLacj (the Collector)

Hahaha, the new-canon skekSa IS deemed a female now **although all skeksis are canon-implied to be actually ambiguous/ both male and female at the same time**
This chart, on the other hand, was drawn a long time ago (2016) , long before the new-canon skekSa was demeed a "she"

**BTW- The skekSa I'm drawing at the current time is called a female now: that would be maybe the only aspect I´ve taken from the new Dark Crystal canon and adapted to my A.U -since I intend to stick to just the old lore for my works (back from the 80´s -to 2016 at most) ^^ **

He had already been mentioned- name, occupation and all- at several official books and info about the Dark Crystal ^^

IDK why they decided to completely swap poor skekLach´s personality and looks...the one at the show is a completely different skeksis (snotty, sickish, rather meek and feminine instead of big, hunky, aggressive, scheming and "very much macho" XD .

I´m really glad to know you like their designs, I nowadays look back at these and think they might have gotten a bit too colorful, but since the old lore says skeksis were once bright, colorful and radiant, I couldn´t help but imagining them looking this way in their prime! ^^

I wanted to show up with patterns possible for a colorful lizard or bird, yet unlike them and truly unique...also, I felt like giving out prts of their incoming personalities through their very colors, as a physical manifestation of who each one was!
