Shut Eye is here!
So as some of you guys probably know, I’ve been working for the last couple of years on a reboot of my comic Up and Ahead, now named “No North”.
I’m very excited to start drawing chapter 1 after so much time working on it, but Shut Eye had to be told first, otherwise a few things wouldn’t make too much sense.
It’s basically the very same story from the animatic, but now contextualised. Shut Eye’s tone is very different from the next chapter, so that’s why it’s a “Chapter Zero” type of thing. It’s darker, and as you’ll see, Steban wasn’t in the best place emotionally( and of course, physically too!)
This story happens around 5 years before No North.
Anyway, enough babbling!

watched it for the first time while in the hospital with a family member (who is fine now) and talking to someone via email about getting my first drawing tablet :'D I really cant wait to see how it all folds out via comic!! <3

did anyone notice or it just me that Steban looks like were chased by someone or something here ?, you know by just looking his expression, he seems quite worried and in a rush because of something. well for sure he won't be chased by The Devil already right ?, I mean this story just got started. or maybe it was just because of that weird fog surrounding the town.

Those colours and atmosphere are SO stunning, and I really love how you've laid out the panels and how the 2nd and 3rd ones are sort of "inside" the first one, it's just really clever and looks really cool! The buildings look awesome, and Steban's poses are so impressive and fluid. I'm already hooked and can't wait for more!!!
