Love this collection! So cool Inktober. Question: how much time - more or less - do u spend on each drawing?

Thanks Eleniuss
It varies a lot on each drawing.
Some are inspired and work out quickly, like this one.
I think I spent maybe an hour or so on this, pencil and ink.
Others may take more time. Some take 4-6 hours.
Some even longer, if the image is not really coming together well and edits are required.

Interesting .. if I see correctly, you're drawing the whole thing with a pen and ink it afterward, right?
How do you manage the values, hatching that needs to be thin/bold to create a good contrast?

I do start with pencil.
When I was younger, I would just draw straight in pen, but it is very unforgiving.
When I plan a piece properly, it is not so hard to manage values.
I am a very light touch with a pen, so I can get some very faint lines from the same pen.
I also use 2-4 different pens.
I use a kuretake fude brush pen for the fattest, darkest lines.
Then a Zig Cartoonist for most of the lines.
For really thin work, a micron 005. I occasionally bring in my micron 01, more so now as my Zig is running out of ink.

I do also use Micron pens. Quite a lot actually.
I  always keep your illustrations close to me. Just to get inspiration !

Reminds me of Hermaeus Mora from the video game 'Skyrim'.

I'm not familiar with that.
I am often not familiar with things that everyone else knows.

He basically appears as a floating mass of tentacles and eyes like this. Are these squid eyes?
