Description
Since most of the exterior parts were done, so I think its time for me to show the full closeup view on my F-14D model.All poly modeling, rivets and panel lines were all modeled.

the blueprint arent the best on this one, mostly works on photos.

It looks fantastic mate! Being really picky, I would have a quick look at the canopy - don't know if there are artifacts in the bottom part at the front to back divider? Or perhaps it's supposed to be like that, the shading just looks a little odd to me. It dosen't detract from what is a beautiful model though!

yeah the shadows samples are pretty low on this, trying not to get over a hour rendering time.
so i keep it simple for around 10 minutes time.

Ah, that's probably it then! I couldn't imagine a problem with the geometry if I'm honest.
Looks superb though - are you still plotting insanity (i.e. modelling part of a carrier for this to sit on)?
Also, I know it's a popular question, but would you tell me what the face count is at now please?

Carrier will be the last thing to do, at the moment Im planning to add more details on inner part components such as radar, cockpit etc..
Current total tris count was about 5 million, or somewhere around 3 million polys
