Description
Crankrats art, something to wind down on.
Down on the bowels of the city, everything is in ruins. The floor is covered in a dense, dark smog that chokes anyone who decends into it. Those who survive and linger are driven into madness, becoming cannabalistic and downright evil. They are known as the Hazers, and lately they've been more active than usual...
Some Hazers who have a smidge of sanity left know to avoid a Crankrat like the plague when they see one, but most will try for any flesh they can find, and it looks like Jack's walked right into a Hazer's nest...

A crankrat is a person who can channel electricity.
And it's a slang way of saying 'turn something up', such as volume or heat, seeing as they have to charge up thier ability, i thought it was a adeqaute name. ^3^

Also I realised tonight (when I was supertired and tried to sleep away my cold though it didn't succeed) that it's crankratS. In plural. So are there more like him? I thought he was the only one. Also I'm very curious as to how he got those powers. But I'm sure we'll get to know that later.

Jack looks brilliant in this with all the lighting and shading.
And I'm really loving the way you draw lightning; it looks pretty realistic but it still suits your style.

Hmm. It might, but since this isn't an actual comic page I don't think some more detail would hurt if you wanted to add it.
It would be interesting to see a realistic drawing of Jack (and Maddie, Ara and Sable

Looks awesum ^^ Could imagine that there would be a "cleaning" group by the goverment(?) or from some private company from time to time in full body armors and some kewl weapons and stuff to keep them Hazers in check.
