Description
This is a 3D model of a katana I did for a poster design announcing an iaido/ Jodo seminar that our team held in Jordan last summer. We accommodated high graded sensei\'s from Japan, England and the Netherlands.

The sword was modeled in Maya, I simply used an occlusion pass and rendered it. No textures were used.

I have been practicing this martial art for 3 years now , and it has extremely influenced my life. I regret missing a lot of practices because of work ... I hope I can get back to it by next year.
