So I played through Undertale recently and before I started my net kids all said "You are Toriel! You're Goat Mom!"
I played the game and I could see why they felt that way. There's obvious mom parallels and such.
Then I got to Alphys. And at first I laughed over some of the things she did and went "Same." and "Me."
Then...as the story progressed and we see more of her personality and personal struggles I stopped laughing.
Because it started hitting closer and closer to home. The whole concept of people thinking you're cooler than you are, the idea of failing people over and over, all of it just damn son.
I'm not sure what to take from this but I had my own personal crises of self from playing Undertale.
It's an excellent game. Go play it. Cry with me.

I'm probably a less depressed sans,
we're both laid back,
we both make horrid puns,
and we both have a sibling that's more hammy and outgoing
(except Sans has an older brother and I have a younger one,
so I'm more like Papyrus from Underswap...)

I consider myself to be most like Sans; easygoing and funny yet also fat, lazy, depressed and somewhat pessimistic. The only differences (besides the obvious that is) are I can't think up a pun to save my life and instead of a younger brother I have an older sister who I think is a mix of Papyrus and Undyne.

my friend thinks of me as alphys but i think i am probably most like sans (i sit down on my laptop or play games just all day, i would do anything to get out of doing chores/school/homework, even before undertale got popular i was making all sorts of puns to annoy my friends.

I've just started the game (Currently, I've escaped TWO of Undyne's relentless chases in Waterfall). I took a quiz out of curiosity on Quotev and came out as Asriel which I find hilarious since I accidentally spoiled myself (Oh well, I'll still play it anyway). I guess my personality is kinda a strange mix of Asriel, Papyrus and Alphys.
