Description
Randomly had the idea to do a visual of the different blur modes, since I use them a bunch. I forget which do which so this helps a bit. XD
This is also featuring Gip! (pronounced geep) my pop-eyed griffon!
Yeah, my hand hurt a little bit to draw him out (cuz going through some carpal tunnel pains) but it only took 5 minutes to draw him!
So my thoughts:
Blur More simply makes it slightly more blurry. You'd have to keep pushing the option for it to get more blurry.
Box Blur has a weird edge around the blurring which can be good depending on what you're using it for!
Gaussian Blur is what I use the most, as it's more smooth! Though the slider scale can make things extremely blurry. I wanted it kind of similar
to Box Blur just to see the slight differences.
Radial Blur I haven't used before and it's strange. I chose "spiral" so it was starting to make Gip go in a circle. There was another option of
Radial Blur that was more "focused", as if lines were going directly to the middle of the subject. My photoshop didn't really like me using that tho. xD
Motion Blur is straight forward, which makes it look like it's moving. I made it so the motion blur was going horizontal.
Shape Blur, I dunno how it's determining it, but I chose a checkmark shape and this is what happened. ffff
This was all an interesting little experiment! lol
