For a ship like the Far Horizon, its seems like it would be a good idea to have an infirmary of some kind. I would place it where the left side escape pod currently is, that way its quick and easy to get to from the boarding ramp.

noticed a design flaw with both deck plans. its to do with the restroom. if the ship is carrying passengers, i don't think its a good idea to make the restroom accessible thru the captains/1st officers room. I think that is considered a private area.
you got options: add a 2nd restroom in 4 possible areas of the ship
between the empty spaces of these areas: (I hope I explained the locations well enough)
12 & 4
12 & 8
13 & 4
3 & 11
If only one restroom, suggest using area 12-8 as the restroom and put 2 doors across area 8 & the center hallway leading to the cabin and make the captains/1st officer 2 separate rooms.

In the passenger room/lounge (8), there is an all-in-one refresher on the back-wall of the captain/first mate's bathroom (10) to alleviate that problem. I appreciate the feedback though! The next set of commissioned deck-plans are for a more passenger-oriented vessel, so you'll see a comparable layout.
