A gun that's actually way better looking than a molested Blaser R93 that Ubisoft did? Hell yes, and the side loaded mechanism reminds me of the Metro Last Light (and Exodus) Valve sniper, the appearance gives off the vibe. And oh, the luxury consideration could make this a collector's price of some sort compared to a normal semi-auto and bolt action rifle.

Actually you’re right! I mean it’s a bit too fancy and clean for the Metro world but the design would surely fit! God I loved that game. Still have to play the DLCs tho.

Hmm, luxury, like a wa2000 so its close enough to being german, and high quality materials and machining. Wouter you basically summed up the company Korth over in Germany haha.

Oh yes exactly haha!
“500 dollar revolver? We’re putting our name on it and sell it for 2500!”

It looks like Kali's weapon from Rainbow Six Siege.

Heard the same thing on Instagram. However, I doodled this gun 2 years ago, and I don’t think Kali was a thing back then.

Now that I think of it: The reason why some guns have magazine on their size rather than at the bottom is because it was not only to be as simple as possible, but also to reduce the effect of the gravity, producing smaller profile, easier vital ambush position, more space at the bottom, etc. However, it may cause accuracy issue if the user isn't familiar with side magazine weaponry. This was common concept in WWII like FG 42, Sten SMG, and to name a few.

Absolutely! I’ve always wondered how much the M1944 Johnson’s 40 round magazine influenced the balance of it.

What would the magnification of the scope be?

Side loading rifles are quite neat, both in gaming and irl. Mainly speaking of the Fallschirmjägergewehr 42 irl wise, can't remember many side loaders beside it.
More on point: I like the design a lot, it would fit into a cyberpunk environment quite well

I think so too, especially with the modern / semi futuristic scope in contrast to the wavy wooden furniture.
The Steyr HS50, NTW-20 and M1944 Johnson were also side loaders, but not many modern ones have this indeed.

I should've remembered the NTW-20 -facepalm-
But yeah, great work!
