Commission 3/11 from the winter 2013 sketch commissions
This one is for who asked me to draw an alternative Xerneas as a pink fawn.
Even if I like Xerneas original design, we both agreed that the fairy type was kinda unexpected, so she wanted to see a more fairy-like Xerneas.
Then I had the idea of adding the "Pinkan berries" that were featured in an old episode of the anime, in which they had these berries that turned all pokemon pink. It seemed like a nice explanation for it's color.

hmm this version realy would have fit the fairy type better TuT
idk i though xerneas was going to be at least a grass fairy, i was also convinced there was gonna be a dragon eeveelution to the fairy one but oh well |D
But back to the drawing! Like always totally adorable TuT the backgroudn is so awesome ;o; And the idea with the Pinkan berries is amazing xD
