Commission 4/7 from the summer 2013 commissions.
This one is a half commission, half trade for quickspace who asked me to draw her character Cyrus, the impala, in watercolor.
I'm very happy with this picture, even when I did some experiments with it, I still love the final result.
Made with watercolor, black/white ink, pencil and white ballpoint pen on fabriano paper.

ahh thank you so much this is gorgeous! I can even tell you how much I love the way you drew the space background, I've never seen anyone do a watercolor nebula! The colors all go together so nicely and I especially love the purple spiral, it almost looks like you used sparkle paint or gossamer or something hahaha
the experiments that you did definitely paid off, now I want to try making something like this!
I've always admired how careful and perfect your lines are, especially the way that you draw fur and you made his hooves and ears, they're adorable aldkjfalsdkfj

I also used ink to draw this space actually. At first I thought I was ruining it, but at the end I could find the way to make it work. As for the purple spiral, it was made with watercolor and white paint, it was also a big mistake when I made it first XDD So yeah, I'm very happy about how I could save this.
I still haven't sent it to you, but I'll try to do it on this week, I will tell you when it's done ^^
