Description
A request from my good friend . He and I usually swap ideas between our characters. He seems ot have taken a liking to mine and requested a drawing of two of them even.

It's for a story he is writing called 'Kung Fu Hippie.' The hippie in question is the "green peace" fox character of mine Valerie Quinn. She's the one on the left. (both figuratively and literally.)

As far as hippies go, Valerie's kung fu madness is sort of like the whole 'Billy Jack' thing. She uses her 'Hippie Fu' powers against "The Man."

Yet like many of my characters; Valerie is probably going to undergo changes again. The original vision of Valerie was someone who was so far left that she was so hardcore in her beliefs where it got pretty extreme sometimes.

however, with what is going on nowadays with runaway governments and bullying media, extreme leftist philosophy is nothing to laugh at. It isn't even charming, it's scary. It's the very extreme that defines restriction of freedom. Same thing with the extreme version of the right. (Who I still model Brian out to be...also figuratively and literally on the right here.)

So because I do not like the extreme of any side, in this case the left, Valerie's philosophy would change a little. Don't get me wrong, she's still a green peace activist; but not as extreme as I would make her out to be. She would only go after something if she felt it was wrong, not just because it's big in the media or because other extremists do it. And she puts friends before politics. And if her freinds (with the exception of Brian) were accused of being "stupid" or sometimes "racist" cause they didn't agree with something said by her side, she'd stand up for them. She knows them better than anyone else; she and her friends grew up together since they were kids.

Why would I do this? not because of my own personal points of view; but because I actually have a fondness for Valerie. She's cute in her own humble way and outspoken. A girl should be like that. I don't want her to represent something I detest.

Brian still remains the other extreme; the right in this case. He won't listen to any form of "change" and he will defintiely make fun of Valerie wfor whatever reason. Valerie is a vegetarian and Brian is making fun of her for being that. So Valerie just kicks his little rear high in the air.

As you can see she can kick really high and Brian looks more than shocked and looks like he has real "butt-hurt!" XD XD

Anyways, I hope you like this . It's real fun drawing my characters for requests. ^__~
