Kamakiri(Preying Mantis) from Revolt Guardians. Info is WIP.Kamakiri is an original character from my own series, Revolt Guardians. Inspired by Gundam, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Evangelion.

I really dig the smoke effect, and that little round thing rotating in his shoulder lol.

It's behind his leg....didn't feel like drawing it for some reason and it kinda looks like he doesn't have a left arm lol.
And yeah, I'm pretty proud how those came out since I've never done them before in my other sprites.

The line work and detailing is fantastic, but I can't help but think that the shading on the black/gray parts doesn't have enough contrast; even the darkest shades are pretty light, and kind of flattens it out. Know what I mean?

Yeah I colored this one different from my usually style since it's basically a experiment. Did the shading completely different from what I usually do and it turned out very light. Thought it was kinda interesting so I kept it that way for a reason and see what ppl say about it. I won't be doing this much though since it's was an experiment. Thanks alot for your feedback on it!

Whats good bro, nothing much just been chillin lol. Yeah you were M.I.A. for awhile, your subscribers were about to get a search and rescue party out to find you lmao. I totally understand man, its good to take some major breaks on your art, in fact it helps refine your skills. Yeah Guyver was the shit back in late 80s early 90s, I grew up watching the live action Guyver movies back when I was youngin(ahhh good times *manly tear drop*). Your sprite puts me in the mind of his bio battle armor suit, especially the steam coming out of it.

Yeah, looks pretty weird eh? Kinda stiff here and really well there....wish I can make it more animated. I never animated robots much so it's a WIP lol. Will try and update it soon!
