This was a fun one, being commissioned to paint one of my favorite battletech mechs is something I couldn't pass up (not to mention I usually don't decline commissions

A Steiner Zeus assault mech charges across the peculiarly flat and smokey battlefield. He doesn't care about being flanked, only that he shoots as many things as possible

I got hit with six Gauss rifles in a Zeus and only was taken out of action when the opponent took my gyros out with a Medium Laser.

Excellent scene. Zeus is my fave mech, so cool. Love the lighting and detail, like the troops getting blasted and damage to the shoulder. Love it

The pilot really should care , wasting good LRM on infantry while being shot by another mech is a bad idea .
I can see a house Steiner pilot in the FedCom civil war doing these sort of thing but certainly he will not live long if he persists . come to think of it , if the pilot was a member of Word of Blake he would do this sort of overkill on infantry all the time : ) Probably why they lost the jihad .
