Name of the creator not the monster.. thought considering the original monster was supposedly called Adam, why not have her be called Eve?

It's the last name of the creator. Convention is that the child takes the last name of the parent, so the monster would be Adam Frankenstein. Or if we're not going to be treating them like people, it's not uncommon for something to be named after its inventor.
