Looks like something very The Birthday Massacre with the stars and purple sky. Mostly I was just messing around on photoshop, trying to see what I could do with stock photos.

This is very simplistic - the image is nice, but I cant guess how it was done, and I'm just not impressed and I don't feel an urge to put it on my desktop background. I don't mean this in a nasty way; just a fact.
Still, like I said, it's not a bad image, and the colors you picked are calm and fitting. The blur at the top of the dark structure is slightly distracting but overall, not much to nit-pick over.
