I wanted to do something like this for the longest time, but could never get it quite right. This still isn't exactly how I wanted it, but close enough.
I'm always so struck by the beauty of a bare tree's silhouette against the fresh snow on a full moon... especially right at midnight... it's just beautiful, so bright, yet so dark... and so peaceful, yet so eerie... one of my favorite things to look at.
