Doctor Who: The Mind RobberI did this just for fun. One of my favorite episodes, favorite Doctors and favorite companions.
I met Mr. Troughton in 1986. I gave him a drawing I had done of him and Wendy Padbury. He said, "--it was quite good, as he received a number of such things over the years and that I should certainly continue with art."
I did end up becoming a professional artist. After all, who am I to ignore advice from The Doctor?
11 x 17 on Bristol board, brush and ink, digital color.

I watched this episode recently. I've never been a fan of old films because the effects are not that good, but I made an exception with Doctor Who.

The surreal masterpiece of Doctor Who! The Mind Robber is also one of my favourites. The first episode in particular is creepy as hell, especially when Jamie and Zoe come across those whited-out duplicates of themselves in the void. Brr!
