Pretty good for a 'filler' comic page...I remembered this very well, it still burns in my mind quite clearly. I've seen this Gold Coast band a number of times, mainly playing with other decent local bands, plus they used to get a fair amount of support slots all the time. I'd have to say the music was alright (Good for what it was) but the frontman they had was such a Wanking show-pony. This was the first time I encountered them when they supported Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society.
I used the old 'Lightbox' trick for the last panel. I even drew in Rally Vincent's (Gunsmith Cats) head in there, as I am currently reading the entire comics/manga from start to finish at the moment. I always had the hots for this character ever since I first grabbed the 'Bean Bandit' series in single issue form.

I play guitar bass drums anything really,but theres far to manny of these kinds of guys around.
seriously its hard to put a band together because any singer you get acts just like this idiot.Or worse.Axl rose.
Now i see why alot of guitar players typically just sing themselves.seeing how I cant do that,I got acquainted to my mixer.
Im not to picky with genres,But not having to deal with morons to make simple music is a load off.
That and theres no odd stigma with switching styles or exploring possibilities.

Totally agree with the growing musicians comment. If a band continuously sticks to their guns, like Cannibal Corpse, the albums sound all the same and eventually you get sick of it (But with a band name like Cannibal Corpse, you can't really experiment, it'll be treated as 'selling out')
And Axl Rose, that guy has been a train wreck for the past twenty years. I seriously think that people only go to a Gunners show just to see Axl lose it. He obviously hasn't been to a NOFX gig where they get showered with shoes...

There's other classic lame-ness this guy's pulled off, like if there's a fan nearby, he had to go right in front of it while he was hitting the high notes while his hair flew up like a cock-rock band member. This dude was filled with lame-ness it was more like a big joke...
The band's not around anymore, the drummer retired because he was very near his forties, and the two guitarists and the bass player teamed up with Ex-members of Sunk Loto and got a new band going called Electric Horse, and they're not bad, they've gone more into the 'Stoner Rock' style...
