Wait, did you make two heads for this? The facial shape is really different between them.

holy cow! how on earth did you do a mask with posable ears?! i've been racking my brain trying to figure out how to do that for my new werewolf mask. would you share tips or tutorials?

They're not poseable. I was just moving them around when they weren't sewn.

Yeah, I'd still go with ears back. It's cute and although it does make it look a little more aggressive, I think that's what I like about it. It's not the typical, happy, alert, fursuit face you see. And when wearing this mask you don't have to act all bouncy and happy to fit the character's expression. It gives you a whole new character to be. ^.^

Lol, mirrored. I think I still say back for this character. The markings just BEG to be shown off like that.
BUUUUUT yeah, as others have said it still makes him look more aggressive...but I don't think he really looks all that playful/friendly with them forward either. His face doesn't seem to scream out happy-go-lucky-friendly-guy, lol. Forward I think makes him just look more serious, but back seems to be more of an unsure look....that's how it seems to me, anyhow.

I like the ears back! It displays the awesome coloring on the backs! Also, he looks more majestic, not necessarily aggressive. Also, the forward ears make him look like a cat, especially because of the angle they are on the head.
Definitely back.

I can either have them on an elastic strap or on a headband. Elastic will be more above yer own ears, same with the head band. I can place them anywhere on the head. (with some limits)

I love the ears pointing forward, as mentioned, when I see the ears back I imagine that he's agressive.

Ears back definitely c:
It gives it more character, you can see the markings better, they have a nicer shape and I don't think it makes it look aggressive, if anything a little submissive or sad.
