Background/Biography:

It all started with a tiny glob of pure shade and intimidation in the darkest caves in far north, growing bigger from time to time. In a few weeks later, he started to grow into a scorpion with a pair of pink-ish orbs that illuminated weakly in the dark. The scorpion's not your ordinary and typical creature for he possessed the intelligence of a human child. The disturbing noises in the dark cave were as if a music to the scorpion. He grew bored of the 'melody' a few days after, though. He then started to make friends with other shadow creatures but most of his friends were not the friendliest bunch. At first, he didn't have a name until a female shadow creature kindly gave him one. Named after a crate full of rotten apples with 'Lou Han' written on it.

Boredom stroke the scorpion hard and that's when he started to find his way out of the cave only to be stomped by the sole of an unknown identity. His friends laughed at him from the distance. Angry and confused, the scorpion laid his eyes upon a humanly, feminine figure while she plucked a nearby mountain herb, his favourite food. He crawled closer to the foot of the human and stung her as hard as he can as a revenge. Blood filled the glands inside the stinger. Indeed, it tasted horribly bitter. The scorpion then spat the blood out before the female human punted him meters away. Since that day, he was bullied by his friends quite more often.

As time flew, somehow the scorpion grew to become more like a human rather than like a shadow creature himself. His pincers shrunk into two humanly hands as well as his legs but his tail grew even larger than him. He was the odd one out for they look nothing like humans. They claimed he had been corrupted and became like of those who are weak and fragile; the humans. In spite all of that, he defended his new 'hybrid' appearance and told them that he could still be strong with the new body. They only laughed, looking down to him yet he didn't fell into grief. The bullies only encouraged him to make the impossible possible.

Therefore, he led himself outside the caves and into the forest while trying to track down the footprints that may lead him to civilisation. He found himself in a large village of various races. The people welcomed him warmly upon his arrival rather than fleeing in terror. It was odd to him but it made things easier for him. After wandering about the village aimlessly while trying to look for a suitable 'master', he was hit by a mysterious barrier, knocking him back as he hit his head hard on the ground before blacking out. Then came along a red-cloaked man with white hair who had the same idea as the boy; wandering around as he is prone to do.

The man walked and walked until he spotted a small figure with a gigantic tail lying down unconsciously several paces from the barrier. Immediately he took the small boy into a large building within the barrier which appeared to be a magical school itself. Lou Han woke up only to find himself on a bed, head wrapped in bandages, meanwhile the man who took him in stood by the bed before explaining to the Shadow Grunt what actually happened. Lou Han only stood silent and gave the other a frown in return. The man saw great potential within the otherworldy creature, hence he offered him a chance to become a student to a school of top quality learning, education, and magic. Lou Han eventually accepted his offer after putting a lot of thought into his decision. His 'magical' journey has just started.
