I took this picture a while ago and thought absolutely nothing of it. Not too long ago while going through some of my pictures I came back to this one and was actually surprised by how it turned out. It often seems that when I have just taken photos and I look at them right away I feel that they are terrible, I will then look back at them a few weeks or months later and it turns out that they weren't as bad as I had originally thought, some of them are even really great. Maybe it's time to go back over more of my old pictures; I might find a few surprises...

this is just amazing, the lightning in this photo is suberb! and the feather carrys a sense of lightness and softness that is enriched by the light and shadow play of the photo. loved this. a pitty it doesn't have more detail on the feather though. anyways excelent job!
