I Got bored last night (not to mentin hungrey, so I made this little 2-page comic; starring my new character Foxey.Hope you like it!

Okay, then you're a noobcake; I've been into it since I was FIVE (wierd story, trust me, but basically, vore came with the body), but I only knew that there was a community a few years ago.
Hate to break it to you, but sadism is at the HEART of the vore community. Death and live digestion are the norm. Most vore is about enjoying and getting away with murder. Being sociopathic is pretty much a rule to be able to fit in.
Very few people accept the fact that sadism and vore do not need to go hand-in-hand, and should not go hand-in-hand. I only know one other person besides me who objects to the pain and death that the rest of the vore community drools over. And trust me, I've been around the fandom a lot... I'm in the severe minority.

Ya won't need to worry about that from me though; I only like soft vore. I despise hard vore (no offence to anyone else who reads this), it grosses me out more than the stuff I eat (and that's saying something; I once made a nacho cheese ice cream taco).
Anyway, I don't like hard vore; and I don't think any of my friends on DA do either.

Yes; hard vore is all that gore and blood filled stuff that's basically cannibalism; soft vore is... pretty much the exact opposite.

Then I think you miss the idea of what I said; sorry if I didn't word it clearly.
Hard vore is not popular, that is true. But with soft vore, the common result is being digested alive. It is still death, it is still about enjoying murder and getting away with it. People prefer soft, but in the end, it is much more horrific due to skin melting from the inside out and organs bursting as they scream with what little breath they have left. You simply don't have to see it. Out of sight, out of mind, to a very gruesome extent.
What I'm saying is that death, period, soft vore or hard, is the norm here. I'm one of the very few who like vore, think that death and vore do not have to go together - like here - and that it is morally wrong to put them together. I like vore, but I like it soft, consentual, and where nobody dies. That puts me in an extreme minority of the vore fandom, sadly.

Oh goodness, the horrific stories I could tell... soft vore is by no means innocent. In many respects, the fandom seems to go out of its way to make it more sadistic than hard vore. The memories of such things I once saw and read make my stomach turn... no pun intended.
Many try to make it a lot more "cute" and "funny;" their attempts to sugar-coat homicide are almost laughable. Almost.
All the same, I think I've found a friend in you. Vorists like you and I are incredibly rare, and you seem like a very nice guy. Not to mention you've been patient with my ramblings; I imagine those were annoying to read.
