Description
Random doodle which I decided to use for another coloring experiment with my Sharpie fine liner markers.Unfortunately my scanner is starting to go completely senile, so I had to use my digital cam to attempt to capture it. This is as close as I could get it to the original after tinkering in photoshop. eh... :/

Yup, entirely in sharpie. I would recommend wearing a gas mask if you ever try this hahah. I was just about ready to pass out from the fumes by the end of it.

Revistiting old faves.

That would be cool. I used to sew when I was younger, but I have a bad habit of never finishing anything. If I hadn't taken Art at school I probably wouldn't be able to finish pictures either

great job! I love the feathery texture! 
they are expensive but affordable compared to the professional like prisma markers and copics. The only flaw I find in the sharpies are, that its hard to find paper thick enough for them not to bleed through.

Thanks so much! And yeah I agree, this one was done on standard printer paper and when you look at the original close up you can definitely see where it's been bleeding too. The other downside of sharpies I find is the horrid smell. This was done with the really fine tipped sharpies but the smell is just as bad as the thick markers unfortunately. And I'm one who likes to do things in one sitting but I'm not sure how healthy it is to inhale those fumes for that long hahah

Really? I like the smell of them. lots of people do too, but then again it isn't very healthy either. 
But i'm sure losing a couple of brain cells are all worth sacrificing for art.

lol yeah if I'd actually been stubborn enough to finish this in one sitting it probably would've.
I was expecting the ultra fine tip ones to be a bit less pungent but they're just as stinky as the normal ones :/

I always have to finish something in one sitting. Otherwise it bugs the hell outta me. It's a curse. I normally end up with a headache at the end, especially if I use Sharpie.
