Description
This was laying around unfinished way too long and today I decided to finally finish it!I wanted to draw a phoenix again so bad all the time I saw my old commissioned drawing of one:

A rather popular one as well and quiet a few people already tried to steal it.
anyway.
here is a new pheonix drawing.. nothing really special about it, just a plain phoenix without a background or anything
but still....

this is absolutely stunning. the colors are breathtaking and the textures... i feel like i could just reach through the screen and touch those beautiful feathers.
would it be all right for me to link this image in a writing journal as a visual reference for a character's animal companion? not for any profitable work or anything, just a hobby writing community. this is basically the EXACT style of phoenix i had in mind.

I can appreciate the need to protect your work, but unfortunately the text makes it hard to even just see the picture for the sake of appreciating it. Still, good composition, beautiful flow and shape, and great use of colors.

Oh, believe you me, I understand. I've never had to deal with art theft myself, but I've known and watched artists who have, and so I can appreciate the headache that comes with it. And you know why? Because it's a fabulous piece. I came across it myself doing a google search. I've got an OC I've been rehashing and was stunned to see how much your piece captures his attitude, even the shape I had imagined for him. It was a bit surreal XD
But, like I said, it's a great piece and it's a shame so many have tried to steal it.

The Colors blend so smoothly as give the creature a wonderful glow. The movement of the hues also give it the idea of flames. A very good job.

THIS IS SO EPIC!! Amazing work... Ilove the shadows and highlights shown on the wings.the face is awesome and u've drawn its talons so well... and the wings are really great too!! Wonderful work, really!!

Die Farben sind echt klasse und die generelle Form des Vogels gefällt mir auch echt gut.
Leider überlappen die Federn an der Handschwinge des linken Flügels in die falsche Richtung. Wenn er so mit den Flügeln schlägt klappen die ganzen Federn auf wie bei ner Jalousie und das Tierchen fällt vom Himmel. Beim alten hast du es teilweise richtig gemacht.
