I have been wanting to do this for almost a long time ever since the announcement of Ultra Street Fighter IV and the mysterious final fifth character. I know there is a recent news that the fifth character is revealed to be female and is from the Street Fighter related comic and there is no mention of featuring characters from different series Capcom other series or not, however this is where I decide to make a "what if" fifth character as an guest which I have been working on it even before the hint of the fifth character. And it's not just that, I chose a character that is neither overused, example Goku Scorpion Jin Kazama ETC nor a not so well known, or otherwise obscure, one that can either good or just plain stupid and a bad idea to feature.
That character is Kenshiro as mentioned above, the man with seven scars who not only a best Bruce Lee inspired character that makes Marshall Law and Jann Lee look like shit but also the kickass and influential character as its own in my opinion. This same applies to the series. You basically know how influential and inspired it is if you either played on the fighting games or one of the anime like Luffy from One Piece. Here's the example of how even the small thing can be clearly inspired:

True he was heavily used in various anime and youtube, mostly with parody and homage and occasional cameo, but beyond his famous Bruce Lee battlecry, his "You are already dead" in Japanese, and some music, he was not used that much even now unless you counted the one in certain country where the series still got really popular such as Japan and Italy.
I have several idea and concept of how he can be played 2D gameplay. Initially he is Gen who can switch between two stance except each stance is different does have a different feel, example one stance is similar to Chun Li while the other is a mixture between Alex and Karin.
In terms of what his appearance would look like in SF4 art style graphic, that's another part of the reason he should fit well. His classic anime appearance is the best example which happens to be the one I like the most more than the manga as the manga itself does change him for the worst after the death of Raoh in my opinion. I do miss his big eyebrow as it's not only his trademark but also helps tell a difference whether he is cold looking and when he is not. That doesn't mean I don't like the modern look. I thought his apearance in Legend Of Savior looks pretty good as it does match Tetsuo Hara current art style as shown in Fist of The Blue Sky. I can't say the same to his New Fist Of The North Star appearance. He looks like shit and feels like he is just another generic anime character combined with his generic everyday male voice in the Japanese language but that's another side topic.
Also for the rival suggest choice, I picked certain characters that can work well based on what Kenshiro experience in his journey be it person, the technique etc from friend to enemy. I include Akuma on the redundant category because not only it's been done to death but also predictable when it comes to interaction.
