Happy Late Birthday. !*I am neither a anti Chun X Ryu fan who dislike ranging from obvious to retarded reason nor one of the ignorant dumb ass guy like everyone else in this site. I know Ryu since both the SFII animated movie and the manga and I respect him even if I don't like him not to mention he would not do such a thing in games and media adaption. The reason I put it is mainly because I am based it on the every growing stereotype in recent year that shows Ryu and Chun making sex like every other fan pairing, save for some who either can do more than that or ship fan pairing without relying on sex and porn exploitation.
The pic where Chun Li fight alongside Kenshiro is basically concept, not an actual pairing or such. The weapon they use, as always, is based on Bruce Lee two films, one is Way Of The Dragon where this is the first and only time he uses two nunchaku at once, and obviously Enter The Dragon. Those who don't know, Kenshiro uses both duel wielded weapons in both manga and the anime in at least one scene.

Oh and las thing, this pic is a mix between the usual gift pic and the aspect theme of anti stereotype when portraying male and female characters in sexploitation way which you basically know why in my latest journal when I got tagged by

To me, there seems to be some misunderstanding of the characters here:
1.) In my opinion, this "Sex senario vs Ass kicking one" is wrong, if anything, it whould be the other way around or... not quite. Ryu live for the fight he doesn't know much aside from that (he's no dumbass but not that educated either). I'm a Ryu x Chun-li fan and I'm the romantic type but imo, if they whould date, despite loving each other passionately, their relationship wouldn't exclusively be based on sex like most fan think. I think they would likely have kind of a competitve relationship with Ryu only wanting to get stronger ect. Kenshiro, unlike Ryu already knew love. He most likely would want Chun-li out of trouble, away from the fight. Originaly, he didn't want Mamiya to join him and he didn't even date her. Although,Chun-li strong personality might convince Ken to let her fight by his side (much like Mamiya), Ken is more likely to be the romantic type as he know what it is to be romantic, for starter. Ryu would be more like the "student lover" type who learn what it is to be romantic from his partner (Chun-li) and maybe advise from friend (Ken Master most likely).
2.) Since when Ryu is the "pretty boy" type and Kenshiro the "ugly mofo" one ? You chose a pic where he look "cuter" than usual (he almost has sparkly eyes like Sailor Moon XD) but based on games, mangas and anime, i don't recall anyone call him handsome or pretty. As for Ken, well he's based on Mr. Lei Siu Lung likeness, who from all i know many ladies thought was "handsome". Also, in the manga and anime, at least 3 babes have the hots for him so i doubt he's supposed to be ugly. So yeah, i'm not gay, but these two were are not the "beauty type" mention above, they are minimally average (then again beauty is in the eyes of the beholder). Beside, i think that comparing them is hard is pretty hard cause they had various design through the years. In fact in some of them, they even look like one another :

I'm still trying new stuff myself. Posing can be troublesome sometimes, finding the right way to have them in.
Right now I' doing portraits. I'm told one of my best features in art is facial expressions. So I'm seeing what I can do with that. I'm also making my first Chun-Li Keychain. I always like trying new things, so this will be fun. ^^

I actually have a large number of Chun-li projects. Some I focus more on then others. You see, I'm a guy who likes to experience a lot of things. ut when I work on something, the focus always seem to hit the same familiar face.
I like the Kenshiro & Chun-Li piece. Would be cool if some of Bison's men was being hit too.
I'm a bit confused by your last question, so I'll answer it in two forms.
If I make a Chun-Li gift for a friend, usually I'll draw her in a specific pose, outfit or appear as though she is giving a gift for the viewer. Though if I get a request for a gift with something I don't agree with, likely that I will not draw it. When it comes to Chun-li, I prefer to show off her character more then anything else.
If you are talking about a gift in dedication to Chun-li, then that's a little more complicated. Sometimes I'll draw her receiving a gift, or something more dynamic like a dedication piece much like my animation for her birthday.
One last note, when making Chun-li pieces, it's not often I want her fighting. Mainly, because I want to focus on her personality. We all know she's a fighter, but she's also a person. Fighting isn't the only thing she does, so I want to bring out more of what Chun-li is like.

What i meant to say is which type of theme would tou rather chun li as when making a gift for other or when someone sent a gift pic to you. Example: stereotype depicting chun i damsel i distress for the sake of gaining more fave and comment as though it is as effect of wasting all the money on one hooker or prostitute:

Well I can see why you say that. I try to avoid the stereo type imagery, as I like to stand myself out from a crowd. But at the same time, I try to avoid dirty tactics like Fan servicing or sexploitation.

Well I must confess. I grew up with her for quite a long time that I've grown quite attached to her. And I will admit, I do find myself wanting to be closer to her at times. It's complicated to explain. If you followed my page from the very start, you may understand my feelings for her. It's only natural that I want things to go farther between me and her.
But I can never get myself to drawing such things. I may get as far as partial nudity, but nothing further. I love her so much. I just want to be closer to her is all.

I have some fan pairings of my own, but most of them are in terms of being team related. I too though get my fair share of requests in pairings. Luckily they never ask for anything to graphic. Though I will get picky if they suggest something I don't agree with.
But in terms of drawing pairings, I like trying something more fun and silly.

I recommend sticking to ken rage 1 unless you want play just just for complete story adapted from the manga which you should watch the tv anime instead. In addition it has no english dub and a super repetitive gameplay and other low budget aspect

Huh? I'm confused! Lol, are you referring to the re-release DVD consist of four boxset with HD remastered and including 36 episodes per boxset?
But it looks awful if you watch various video walkthrough that lets you know what the comic cutscene looks like and the extension of gore graphic and budget aside from character models being placed here and there and budget sized sound effect when watching flashback.

Not sure. Fist of the North Star as far as I know is kind of a cult classic here in the States. I never find any DVDs or anything on it here, so I only can find them on youtube.com.
While looking up some random TF2 videos, I came across it. Didn't look like the old anime, but a newer one. Kenshiro was a bit more detailed and everything. I just had a hard time making out some of the characters.
