About a year ago my Mom passed away from lung cancer - she was a strong and wonderful woman. She had the Song Danny Boy played at her memorial service, a few months later my brothers and I scattered her ashes along the coast.I took my girlies to the shore for a couple of days recently - we spent a couple of evenings on the beach looking at this sky - it made me realize how blessed I am and have always been...hmmm

Very peaceful. I'm lucky in that both my parents are still alive - although my mother is 77 with dementia - also a very strong woman once. My sister died when she was only 18, so I do understand the loss. And can relate to the image - and the sentiment - in that context.
