Description A very old project: in 2008 I tried to make a Wraith Dart and... I failed^^ but now in 2009 IΒ΄m on a good way, I think...

Nice start, although you can do a better work, it seem a little 'generic'. Try to spend some more times (with ZBrush) on the detailing, you could create something real close to the studio model. Here an example:

I started with the basic mesh (just profile) after this I made some details. This was the first Cinema 4d part. I exported the mesh (poly-objekt) as .obj and imported it with ZBrush 3 there you can "paint" the details -> organic stuff. IΒ΄m not finished in ZBrush because I want to make some more details. If you are finished in ZBrush you can export the modell as .obj and import it in Cinema. You can also export a displacement map but my UV_map of the dart isnΒ΄t so good thats why I use the .obj.

I will post some new pics/wireframs/screenshots soon (maybe this night)

Wow, looks very cool I'd love to see a wire-frame on this one. I also wonder, how do you model the organic stuff? First some basic stuff, subsurf, push 'n pull? Or is there a better way? (There must be )
