Lovely work. You really captured that other-worldy feel necessary to fantasy illustration. The depth of forest and the way it seems to tower over the character is impressive. But it also isn't threatening, but seems like a mysterious and amazing place. Great job!

Beautiful painting. It is a shame that they cut so much off for the book cover. If the book is anywhere near as fetching as the cover, they really should see about getting it translated so many more folk can read it.

No worries! The book cover actually extends the image to the back cover. It does get screened by synopsis box and barcode and stuff but fortunately some of it shone through, haha.
I'll pass the translation idea to them just in case
