DO NOT SHARE WITHOUT PERMISSION!I was watching the trailer for the new DMC by Ninja Theory. (No, I will not say anything about Dantes new look here) and I was thinking: what would Mary/Lady look like if she was about to roam through the streets of Limbo City? Of course, she will not, the new DMC is a prequel, I know. But that has not stopped my imagination. I was trying to take bits of her original appearances, such as the ammo bags, white shirt and red boots and tried a kind of "dirty" slighted punk look. I must admit yet, that I did a poor job on her face and modelled the ammo bags really hasty in Zbrush. The (re)texturing part had eaten so much time. But all in all I think this is how she could look look

She looks more like Sawyer the Cleaner from Black Lagoon minus the chainsaw than Lady. This woman looks like she is on her way to get some drugs not to hunt demons.

Well from all girls of DMC I would really like to see her the most. But hooded? Wasn't she blonde in the trailer (makes me think more of Trish which would fit more into her guiding Dante through Limbo City) Anyway, thank you.

The environment and lighting is just awesome, although the two chunks up in the sky seem a bit out of place. Its a great scene really! I've looked at this multiple times and only now do I notice the arm sticking up out of the ground!

nice job. i read not long ago that now it's not a prequel but set in a entirely new world that the new dante has no relation whatsoever to the dante we know. now this was mentioned before but was changed to be prequel but now it's not as far as i know unless it changed.

I love how you have the background unfocused. It's a freat technique for bringing out the main focus of the picture.

So is this a tweaked render? I looks really nice, I would only change one thing I would adjust the focus to include the background that way it doesn't look like a pic of a toy. As for the textures damn good friggin perfect in fact.

It really is a good image. By "tweaked" I mean postworked. Usually I will "Tweak" My renders in PSP13.

Ah, I see. Only minor postwork on the hair in PS. No matter what, hair tends to always look strange. The rest is all rendered. Yet, you can call it "pre-worked" I texture of course before I render

and I will use this area to post my stance on the new DmC
I am kind of worried for the new DmC, ninja theory has a bad history for producing fair fighting games but severely lacking in voice acting and story lines. and knowing this from my past experiences with their games (not to mention the fact over a period of years they have 'expunged' their failed games from lists of games they made); it puts a bad face up for them. Just be wary of what they do here friends. Rent the game first! If it turns out to be one of their few successes, so be it, shout it from the roof tops. If it fails; let EVERYONE know. Do not be silent about games you don't like. Tell them what you want. You pay them for entertainment, make them work for it.
That is all I have to say.
